In addition to the XL1 & XL2, the GL1 is also with me at events as an additional back-up/second camera. Canon3X Super Wide-Angle Zoom Lens: Canon's high performance 3X Super Wide-Angle Lens provides the XL2 with the widest field-of-view of any DV camcorder. Light Wave Systems - Professional Microphone Isolation For the XL2:

AZDEN SGM-2X XLR Professional Super-Cardioid Shotgun Microphone: The SGM-2X is AZDEN Corporation’s top-of-the-line dual-barrel professional shotgun microphone. The SGM-2X comes with 2 barrels that effectively change the pick-up pattern of the microphone. With the short barrel, the SGM-2X works as a sensitive omni-directional microphone. Bogen/Manfrotto Professional Video Support Systems: My video cameras are supported by several Bogen/Manfrotto professional tripod systems including 2 stationary tripods, and a video monopod. My primary tripod, model# 3036, is also outfitted with a portable dolly, model #3127. This professional camera support system enables smooth, steady and shake-free camera movements.

VIDEO LIGHTING SYSTEM: I only use camera-mounted battery-operated low-wattage lights to remain unobtrusive, while assuring vivid, natural colors, especially outside at night or in unlit or other dark interior environments. I use several camera-mounted DC video lights including, the NRG VARALUX PRO and the SUNPAK CZ-200A.The Varalux Pro has a sophisticated light management system. NRG's Light-Gate technology includes an on-board control knob that allows light intensity adjustment within a range of 10% to 100% of the lamp's rated power. This enables me to instantly adjust light output to meet changing light requirements-without changing hot bulbs or fussing with diffusion filters in the middle of a shoot.

VIDEO EDITING/DUPLICATION PROCESS: After videotaping your wedding/special event, I spend many hours in post-production editing your raw tape footage to create an elegant emotion-filled love story. Creative editing isn't obvious until you compare it to unedited wedding videos. The editing process involves taking the many captured details of your special event to include everything important, the emotions, expressions, the laughing and the crying of this most special day. I work with you to create your video love-story. I respect your wishes including your edit decision wish list. After our initial meeting, including viewing highlights of several of my recent video productions, we will discuss your special video requests and/or preferences. My completed video can be up to 3 hours long if you want, or much shorter depending on your preference. I normally videotape the entire wedding ceremony and some clients want all of it on their finished tape. Others prefer a condensed ceremony and more reception coverage. My goal is to design a high quality personalized video to meet your special needs and unique itinerary.

A master digital DVD copy of every wedding I produce is kept in permanent storage to honor any future requests for additional and/or replacement copies. I never record over or destroy your digital master. I even retain all of your original DVD & case label templates. I challenge you to ask other videographers if they do the same? Even though you will surely take every precaution to protect and preserve this valuable Family Heirloom, DVD's although much more durable than tapes, can still be accidentally damaged or lost. Have the peace of mind knowing you may call me anytime for a replacement or extra copies of your wedding video. Your complete video package includes five 2-disc set digitally edited photo-labeled scratch-resistant DVD's in beautiful individually custom made photo cover DVD cases. My state-of-the-art all-digital non-linear editing suite includes three computers and an assortment of high tech. post-production hardware peripherals including a Primera Bravo II disc publisher.
